MALAWI INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS 2023-2025 COUNCIL MEMBERS

The Malawi Institute of Architects is delighted to introduce a new cohort of its Council Members elected at the recent 40th Annual General Meeting held on 24th May 2023 for the term 2023-2025.
Our new council members have a broad range of backgrounds in Architecture and the Built Environment. We are excited about their high level of commitment and are confident that they will carry on with enthusiasm and drive that has gotten our Institute to this point. Their vision is to complete current initiatives, as well as create new initiatives that will advance the mission of the Malawi Institute of Architects.
To facilitate better communication and foster stronger connections, we will be organizing a meet-and-greet event in the near future, where all partners of MIA will have the opportunity to personally interact with the newly elected council members.
We would also like to express sincere gratitude to the outgoing Council for their vision, as well as their hard work, time, energy, and persistence. The previous council has made tremendous progress over the past two years, and this is clearly due to the phenomenal work of our Immediate Past President, Ms Catherine Sani – as well as that of each and every member of the council. We thank them for their dedication and efforts that enabled our Institute to achieve such great success in such a short time.
We look forward to a fruitful and productive tenure with the newly elected council members. Together, we will continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, foster collaboration within the architectural community, and promote the positive impact of architecture on our society.
